Hegler's program is a quasi-historical representation of Limbert. Dressed in period western "garb," Hegler portrays the flamboyant side of Bob Limbert. As Limbert, Hegler shows photos taken by Limbert and tells tales about his adventures as an explorer of the great rift and what became Craters of the Moon National Monument. Stories are also told about Limbert developing Redfish Lodge and exploring the Sawtooth Mountains.
This one-person, historical dramatization was conceived by Dave Clark, Chief Interpreter at Craters of the Moon National Monument as a part of the celebration to help commemorate the 75th anniversary of the national monument in 1999. Hegler's work also is supported by the Idaho Humanities Council.
